SPREAD-OVER HOURS TROUBLE.

Mr. Shin well, .Minister of Mines, emphasises that only a temporary settlement haS been obtained and that the position is still .unsatisfactory in Scotland and Wales, where men are workin<r SJ hours underground daily. Unless the industry recovers there will be further trouble in July,, when the ”i hour day operates.
