BODY IN GAS-FILLED ROOM

An open verdict was returned to-day at an inquest on the death of Arthur Charles Gunther, a borough employee who was found dead- in a whare on Sunday evening with a gas fire\turned on but not lit. There was no direct evidence to show whether death was' accidental or not. Testimony was given that Gunther was a healthy man of cheerfril disposition, a good worker and showed no suicidal tendencies.
