OAKURA SCHOOL
DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES. The breaking-up function of the Oak'ura School this year was an afternoon one, the very recent change of teachers having interfered with any extensive concert preparations. The prizes were presented by Mr. C. J. Harris, chairman of the school committee, the pupils giving a shoi’t programme of eongs and recitations. Proficiency certificates ' were won by Daphne Price, Bruce Cochran, A’lf Drake arid Walter Drake.

All the the primer classes received gift books.
