She was in the habit of using the radiator to warm herself after the bath. The radiator was 'of the circular copper type with a wire 2000 watt heating element in the centre, Hearing screams from the bathroom, Mrs. Spinks’ daughter, rushed to her assistance but found the door locked, and her husband had to force an entrance through the window. He found his wife unconscious with one hand still grasping the top of the heater. In attempting to release her he also received a severe shock and at the same time-the current was cut off by the blowing-out of the fuse at the main switch board. Artificial respiration was applied to Mrs. Spinks, but when a doctor arrived Bh© was dead. Apparently she had tried to move the heater to another position as she* was about to leave the bath.
