An announcement that . 5000 to 6000 rer fail employees'would have to be dismissed if the anti-rationing clause' of the 44-Hour Bill became operative was made by the ■Retail Traders’ Association.' . ’ The Minister of Labour and Industry, Mr. Baddeley, will receive a deputation from the association on Monday, when strong representations will be made against the Government proposals.'
