BOX-OPENING AT FITZROY. The box-opening of the Fitzroy'habitation of the Young Helpers’ League in aid of Dr. Barnardo’a Homes took place at the school on December 5, when the pleasin a sum of £l7 OS- 3d collected. AIT members spent an enjoyable afternoon on the beach. The highest collector was Reggie Holswich with 14s 9d, while the following had over ss: Elsie Burr Joyce Brewster, Darid Kibby, Mavis Cubbon, Peggy Mack, Joan Jarvis, Joan Bishop, Edwina Eriwata, Pauline Eriwata, Peggy Hollis, Herbert Old, Vernon Veale, Mary Fredric, Vera Bint, Joyce Styles, Jack Aburn, Dinah Anderson Charlotte Andrews, George Beattie, Micky Feek, Erie Gatland, Arthur Gordon, Pauline Gordon, George Knight, Joyce Perring, Myrtle Mason, David Howlett, Claude Waterland, Percy Coombes, Keith Lewid, Barbara Gruszning, Joyce Milne, George Jarvis, Alison Taylor, Leslie Carter, Desma Julian, Thelma Do’dge, Gladys Peattie, Josie Due Zelda Hopkiuson, Murray Mandcr, an*’jack Dumbell. The following have qualified for silver badges: Joyce Brewster, Joan Jarvis, Reg. Holswich and Claude Waterland.
