Stratford, The service wap fully phoral- The. pupite of S, Mary's Dio« eesan School formed the choir and a guard of honour as the bride loft tlm church,/which was decorated by friends of the bride. The bride, who entered the ohureh with her father, wore a graceful frock of ivory georgette embroidered with pilver flowers, the skirt forming a plight train. Her beautiful veil was 6f lovely old Limerick lace lent for the occasion by Mr?, Austin. Yamdly-. ■ y he • carried ,* beautiful sheaf of lilies.- ■ ; The chief, bridesmaid was Mi*w Grace Hall, Gisborne, who wore an ankle length frock of green, floral georgette inlet'with panels of cream lace, and a large green felt hat with flowers to tone with her dress. She carried a shower bouquet of pink sweet peas and roses. Two small flower girls, Cora Fredrie (causjn of the bridegroom), and Priscilla Jackson (Wavpriey), wore empire gowns of pink floral organdie and bonnets to match and carried baskets of pink roses. Herries Young, cousin of the bride, was page, wearing pink crepe-de-chine frilled shirt, with black velvet knee breeches. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Robert McKegg, Palmerston North. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Young entertained a’large number of guests at their residence in Brecon Road. Rater Mr. and Mrs. McGregor left on their wedding trip, the bride wearing a, costume of beige brown tweed, with hat to match, and a stone marten fur. NANSETT—FITZGERALD. A choral wedding was Solemnised on November 26 at St. Brigid’s Church, Feilding, when Winifred Mary, daughter of Mr. M. Fitzgerald, of Halcombe, and the late Mrs. Fitzgerald, was married to Eric Edward, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. ,J. E, Nansett, of Patea. The Rev. Father Broughton performed the cel'ejnony and celebrated the nuptial mass, the music being supplied by Mrs. Christie and choir. The bride, who was formerly a member of the nursing ptaff of Wellington Hospital, wap escorted by her father, and wore a gown of ivory patin with a full ankle-length flare, and an embroidered veil of ivory tulle. She carried a bouquet of orange blossom and lilies, Misp Eileen Fitzgerald acted as bridesmaid, wearing a powder blue ankle-lengtb georgette frock witji black picture hat touched with blue. Mr. D. Fitzgerald, shannon, officiated as best man.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the Halcombe hall. On her honeymoon the bride travelled Jn a black tailored costume with blue fox fur.
