Whapgarei, Last Night.

Fritz Strack, a schoolmaster at Whatitiri, and Richard Wallace, Whangarei, when riding motor-cycles collided on the main road near Maungatapere this afternoon. Strack sustained a. fracture of the base of the skull and is lying in a critical condition in the Whangarei hospital. Wallace is also in the hospital and is believed to have fractured a thigh.
