INCREASED RAILWAY RATES
DUNEDIN URGES CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Dec. 3. At a meeting of the Dunedin Manufacturers’ Association it was decided to obtain information regarding the. effects oh manufacturers of the proposed, changes in the railway rates, to urge the Manufacturers’ Federation to have similar action taken in other centres and to arrange for a round table conference at Wellington to consider the whole question with a-view to\ arranging a discussion with the Minister of Railways and the general manager.
