Through it all she is faithful to but one of them, the man of her choice originally ■ ami not even hjs distrust and cruelty can kill her devotion to him. The story of the trials of Myra Stanhope is put to, before she succeeds in proving, the honesty of her love for her husband, makes “Evidence” one of the most dramatic of the season’s films. Other members of a featured cast ate Myrna Loy, Freddie Burke Frederick, Madeline Seymore 1 , Lionel Belmore, Alee B. Francis and Ivan Simpson. The supporting programme will include Pathe ■Sound News, Rosa .Raisa (operatie soprano), Bell and Coates (vocal duo), Dick Rich and his orchestra, and “The Swell Head” (comedy).
EVERYBODY’S. “THE LOVE PARADE” FINALLY. “The Love Parade,” Paramount’s delightful operetta starring Maurice Chev/ aficr, will be finally screened at Every-; b'xly’s, .New Plymouth, to-night. Chevalier in this picture is a young attache at tfie Paris embassy of the mythical kingdom of' Sylvania. ' Ris philandering*: with women calls forth censure and he ?s sent back to his country to report to his queen. Eventually he becomes’ Prince Consort’ only to find that he link no power, even over the servants. How: he , turns the tables is full of laughs and intriguing situations. Jeanette MacDonald, a beauty from the stage, plays the role of the Queen, while the comedy relief is provided by Lupino Lane and Lillian Roth.- There is a good supporting programme.
' “The Ziegfeld Follies,” an all-dialogue attraction glorifying the modern girl, will be presented at Everybody’s to-mor-row (Thursday) and Friday nights. Mary Eaton is starred in this lavish spectacle which was produced, under the personal supervision of Florenz Ziegfeld, the original glorifier of modern woinanhood, Besides Miss Eaton there are many other actors and actresses in the dazzling production who have gained fame under the direction of Ziegfeld. In a highly diverting revue sequence of the picture, personal performances by Edffie Cantor, Helen Morgan and Rudy Vallee are seen. '
