BABY DISCOVERED IN BOX
WOMEN’S FIND ON ASH HEAP. POLICE SEARCH FOR MOTHER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Blenheim, Dec. 2. Yesterday two women working in a Picton garden had their attention drawn z to a box thrown on an ash heap. Investigation revealed a - newly born female child crying lustily. The infant was taken to hospital where it is doing well. The police are endeavouring to ! trace the mother.
