ANNIVERSARY SERVICES
; . BAPTIST SUN DAY SCHOOL. . The New Plymouth Baptist Tabernacle. was. crowded' at each of the three Sunday school anniversary services yesterday. The children and: members of the junior Bible classes, , numbering ' about 150, were specially - accommodated in the front of the church. Led by Mr. Roy Deare, with Miss G. Gillespie at the piano, their singing was of- a very high standard. An orchestra consisting of Mes.srs. W. and J. Coleman, t R; J. Deare and Misses M. Coleman and Ross, assisted; The church was. suitably decorated with flowers arranged by the girls’ Bible classes. The pastor, the Rev. F. A. Parry, preached to a packed church in the evening, when his subject was “The Centrality of the Child.” The morning service, conducted by the Rev. C. Eaton', . . and the gfternoon service, conducted by the Rev. R. B. Gosnell, also attracted ” large attendances.
