Mrs. Alenzips entertained iftp New Plymouth Y.W.C.A. membership coinmittee at her hoipe for morning tea. pp Tuesday. There were prpsfmt Bottrill and McCormick, Misses Drew, Harrison, and Pym. The main business was planning a garden party to be held on November 2p)'at tlj.e' property qf Air. »nd J - A- R - McQnegqr, off the South Road. The house is on the site of an old Maori pa, and the level ground about W is to be used for varied coippetitions, Mrs. Johnson, Airs. A. S. Clark, and Mrp. Algxwell are takiqg phprge pf these. Afternoon tpa, will be served pn the verandahs and various stalls will tempt visitors to spend. Opportunity will be taken to inspect the beautiful chinphjlU rabbits. In the event of the day proving stormy, patrons are to be invited to the Y.W.C.A. hall, where as many as possible of the activities will be carried on.
