ACTIVITIES OF W.D.F.U.
MEETING OF URENUI BRANCH.
The UrenuP brapch of fire Womens’ Division of the. Farfflers’ Union held its monthly meeting pn Afonday afternoon. The president, Mrs. J, F. Phillips, presided. There was a good attendance of members and visitors from Uruti, Okoke and Inglewood branches. An interesting address was given by Afrs. Alarsh, Inglewood. She gave an outline pf the activities.. of thp Inglpiypod brpnch and imparted ifiliclj ipforpiatipn in this connection. This was followed by a pleasant social hour, after winch afternoon tea was served. At the conclusion of the meeting the president pioyed a vote of Mrs. Alarsh apd explainpd that the Urenui branch was only just formed and hoped' that all the women-of the district who had thp interest of the farming eomniuuity at hpprt would join forces and so strengthen the upion. Oxenham, T. Radcliff, P. Thompson, Hollander, Alisses Phillips, Freeth, Martin, Metcalf,' Chard, Boyes, Thompson, Cocker and Baily. /
