The Brazilian revolution has entered its 11th day with the available reports indicating that the Federals thus far have the advantage in the military operations. The Federals claim victories m all sectors, particularly on the 200 miles’ Sao Paulo-Minas Geraes and on the eastern front. The Government is credited-with two victories in upper Rio de Janeiro, winch will remove a menace to the federal capital, while the Federals continue to march through Minas Geraes, one of the first three States organising the rebellion. Victories in the Sao Paulo-Parana sector .arc claimed in more than rtowns with the rebels being gradually forced southwards towards Parana, removing immediate danger to the large city of Sao Paulo, the first goal of the Southern revolters. ' . The insurgents’ quarters continue to make general statements saying, that the advances of. the Southern revolutionaries have the Federals badly y o *' ried. The rebels predict a decisive battle on the Sao Paulo-Parana region will be fought soon. i r A Washington message states that the Secretary for State, Mr. H. L. Stimson officially announced to-day that the full support of the State Department is behind the Brazilian Government in the present revolution. The United States warship Pensacola has been ordered from Guantanamo to Trinidad, 1000 miles nearer Brazil for the evacuation of Americans in the event of this being necessary. A Beunos Aires message states, that the Brazilian revolutionary headquaiters announced to-day that the rebels had captured the city of Itaperuna, in the northernmost: part of the State of Rio de Janeiro, 400 miles from the federal capital.
