FOR AUCKLAND SYNAGOGUE
BRILLIANT YOUNG MINISTER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Rev. J. Adler, recently appointed to the Auckland Synagogue, arrived from England by the Ruapehu to-day and travels north by the Limited express this evening, accompanied by Mrs. Adler and their two children. He was met by Mr. Philip Myers, president of the Wellington Hebrew congregation, and by members of the board of management of the same congregation. °Mr. Adler is a young man, but has been'five and a-half years minister at a North London Synagogue. He qualified at the age of 18 at Manchester Theological College and was one of the college’s -most brilliant students, 1 his was twelve years ago. He is an Englishman and was born Gateshead-oii-Tyne, Devon.
