HERD-TESTING RETURNS

TESTS MADE IN TARANAKI. DETAILS FOR MONTH OF AUGUST. The August averages for the 1930-31 season of the cows tested by the Taranaki Herd-testing Association show that 7279 cows tested gave an average of 615 pounds of milk, with a test of 4.4 and an average butter-fat production of 27.311 b.
