, BODY WITH. GUN ALONGSIDE Jiy Telegraph.—-Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Duncan McDonald, married, aged 53, a resident of Palmerston, shot himself this afternoon. He had been in illhealth for some time and latterly in a depressed state of mind. About four o’clock his wife left the house, but, hearing a shot, returned, and after a searrfi discovered her husbond lying under a tree on the lawn.

There was a shotgun beside him and ilie back of his head was blown away, the gun apparently having been discharged by a string fastened from the trigger io his foot.
