FAST PASSAGE BY THE KARAMEA. By Telegraph. -Preus Association. Wellington. Aug. 27. A record time for the passage between \\ ellington and London for a cargo boat - has been made by the Karam .a, which left Wellington at 4.15 p.m. on July 22 and arrived in London at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The elapsed time, including stoppages, was 32 days 4hr. 22mip. The actual steamer average time was 31 days 12hr. 4min. An average speed ’ slightly under 15 - knots was maintained throughout the voyage.
