SUBMARINE FOR WILKINS

The polar - explorer, Sir Hubert Wilkins, has placed a £2OOO bond executed by the National Surety Company as guarantee to the United States Shipping Board that he will return to the Government in good condition the submarine 012 lent to him for his proposed voyage under the Arctic ice-cap.
