WHAXGAREI MAX FIXED IM. Whangarci, Aug. 11. Charged with wilfully interfering with the operation of a telephone under the control .of the Minister of Telegraphs,' Charles Schon, bootmaker, was fined £5O by the magistrate, Mr. Morris. Evidence showed that Schon used a wire connecting a distance of 25 yards from a workshop to a buzzer in his own premises.
