The torrid weather over, the wheat lands has caused a net gain of 5 1-8 to 5 3-8 cents per bushel. 'i..e market at Winnipeg on Wednesday for October closed at 102 5-8 cents; December, 1043 ments; May, 1104 cents. At Chicago wheat soared 5 to 0 l-» cents on Wednesday. Corn rose 6 7-8 to 7 7-8 cents per bushel. September delivery corn widened its lead over wheat to 4% cents. September corn closed at 96 5-8 cents. The trading nearly reached the not stage at the mid-session, as buyers found offerings scanty.
