SUBSIDY ON WAGES SOUGHT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Aug. 7. A joint deputation of employers and employees in the flaxmilling industry as well as merchants waited on the Minister of Industries and Commerce to-day. The Minister of Labour was present seeking aid in the form of a subsidy on wages to enable the mills to continue in operation.
