WEATHER STILL UNSETTLED.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will improve on the East Coast of the South Island but elsewhere it will still be dull, misty and unsettled, with rain in most districts and some heavy falls in places. Cold temperatures are probable with snow on the high lands. Winds will bo variable and light to moderate with southerlies prevailing in the central portions of the Dominion, strong south-easter-lies. in the south and strong southwesterlies to gales in the north. Later southerlies will freshen generally and reach gale force in exposed positions. Seas will become rough generally.
