TRAINING YOUNG OFFICERS
INDIA PROPOSAL REJECTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 9.45 p.m. Melbourne, July 22. A recommendation by the Military Board that young Australian officer graduates should be sent to India for further training and possibly active service has been rejected by the Federal Cabinet, which takes the view that. it would be impolitic to meddle in affairs in India, especially at the present juncture.
