THREE PALMERSTON N. CHARGE'S.

Palmerston N., July 16.

Penalties totalling £3OO were inflicted in the Magistrate’s Court on three men, charged with frequenting a street for the purposes of betting. The defendants were Janies Leonard Purves, Frank Dean and Charles Joseph Williams. Each was fined £lOO. They were described as substantial bookmakers.
