The banquet to be tendered to th® Prime Minister, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, to mark the appreciation of the provincial district of Canterbury of the selection of a Canterbury-born man for the office of Prime Alinister, has been arranged for the evening of August 2, states a Christchurch message.
