ART TREASURES IN DEMAND. By Telegraph—Frees Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 7.5 p.m. ' Vienna, June 11. A sale of art treasures belonging to the late Dr. Figdor attracted connoisseurs from all parts of the ’'world. Thirty-six pieces of fifteenth century tapestry were sold for a total of £57,WO. One of these, the Tournai Gobelin. Il feet by 12 feet, representing a law court scene, was bought for the Copenhagen Museum for £20,300. Even a piece of Persian carpet six feet by four feet two inches sold for £3780. Dr. Figdor’s pictures will be sold in Berlin in the autumn.
