ORDERED TO THRASH SON
COURT’S UNUSUAL SENTENCE. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Brisbane, June 11. An unusual punishment was ordered by Mr. Justice Henchman following the conviction of a youth of an offence on a girl. The Judge said, if the youth’s father administered ten strokes of tlie eat on the youth’s back in e cells, in the presence of policemen, he would release him from custody.. -The,, father agreed and the punishment was duly carried out.
