WELL CONTESTED GOLF. During the week-end a team of golfers from Stratford visited Inglewood and met the local players,-'and after a very interesting match the visitors won by one game. The following are the details, Stratford players being mentioned first: — Morning Round. Anderson and Jeffries lost to Lovell and Smith, 2 down. Beal and Burmeister, all square with Ritchie and Darlow. Curtis and Newell defeated O’Cai'roll and Thompson, 3 and 2. Budge and Irwin lost to Grant and Winter, 4 and 3. Rutherford and Lyons all square with Olsen and Mulholland.. Fisher and Allen defeated Partridge and Messenger, 3 and 1,Afternoon Round. Anderson and Jeffries all square with Lovell and Smith.
