AMATEUR CYCLE RACING

LAST OF THE SERIES TO-DAY. The last race of the first series conducted by tho New Plymouth Amateur Cycle Club will be held to-day. It will start at the Boys’ High School and the course will be via Junction Road and Egmont Road, finishing on the Waiwakaiho Flat. The points for the aggregate medals and trophies will be computed after 'the race. For the second series a number of promising young riders are offering. Handicaps for to-day’s race are: Heatley scr, Reed Imin, Horne Imin, Gillies 3min, Goodwin smin, Batten 7min, Hartley Bmin, Cavaney B£mln, A. Hawkins and - Lila lOmin.
