AIRPORT AT AUCKLAND

The City Council’s works committee, after a long inquiry, has recommended three areas of land as suitable sites for the Auckland municipal airport. The committee recommends that the whole district benefiting by the airport should share in the upkeep and control and that a body, constituted similarly to harbour boards, bo set up to carry out the scheme.
