LIMIT PLACED ON NAVY
NORWAY PLANS NF.W FLEET. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Oslo, June 4. The Government has introduced a Bill under which the cost of the Norwegian Navy in future will be limited to £1,000,000 per annum. Practically the whole of the existing fleet will be scrapped, and the new navy will consist of four scouts of 1800 tons each, 10 destroyers averaging 750 tons, 10 submarines (four large and six small), and mine layers, and 76 seaplanes.
