NEW LAUNCH FOR ZANE GREY

CONSTRUCTION AT AUCKLAND.

(By Wire—Special to News.) Auckland, Last Night. The deep-sea fishing boat which will be used by Mr. Zane Grey in his fishing off the coast of the United States is to bo built in Auckland by Messrs. Collings and Bell. • The boat will be larger than the usual deep-sea fishing launch and it will possess special features which have been incorporated by Mr. Grey as a result of his wide fishing, experience. Mr. Grey is at present in Tahiti and the new boat is to be named "Frangipani” after a flower which grows in Tahiti. It will be 46ft. in length and will have a beam of 12ft. 9in. Three fishing chairs are later to be installed and these will have revolving seats with removable backs. The Frangipani is to be ready for trial on November 1, and it is to be delivered on hia > arrival in New Zealand on December 1.
