MUNICIPAL MILK SUPPLY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The chairman of the milk committee of the City Council, Councillor W. H. Bennett, at a meeting of the council said he desired to congratulate the council and the department on the continued progress and financial stability of the milk undertaking. The balance-sheet showed a very healthy state of finance. Sales were still increasing, and losses by way of bad debts were small, whilst increased bottle breakages were satisfactorily accounted for. The profit for the year, £9052, was very encouraging. “Looking at our undertaking from every standpoint,” said Councillor Bennett, “there is nothing but satisfaction to be expressed.
