RIFLE SHOOTING
THE CUP FINAL AT OKATO. The final for Mrs. S. Roebuck’s Cup was fired by members of the Okato Rifle Club during the week-end, and after an exciting finish resulted in a win for Bob Benton. At the end of the’ series Bob Benton had tied with 8. Roebuck, so a shoot-off was necessary. This also was a tic, as each registered four bulls and a four. A further five shots were fired and Benton registered three bulls and' two fours against Roebuck’s one bull and four fours. The final was 10 shots at 300 and GOO vards. The scores were: —
