The following message has been forwarded to the King by the GovernorGeneral on the occasion of the attainment of the 20th anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne: — “The Government and people of New Zealand, with whom I associate myself, rejoice in the opportunity of tendering to Your Majesty their respectful congratulations and good wishes on the attainment of the 20th anniversary of Your Majesty’s accession to the throne and of expressing their feeling of deep thankfulness for Your Majesty’s restoration to health. They pray that Your Majesty may long be spared to reign over your people united in their devotion to the Throne.”
