CONGRATULATIONS SENT By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 7.20 p.m. London, May 4. To-morrow King George completes his twentieth year on the throne and begins his twenty-first. He is in good, though perhaps not robust, health. Ho has a full programme ahead, and it is known that he is anxious to resume the full round of State and social duties. He chafes somewhat under the strict rule the doctors have imposed on him. THE DOMINION’S MESSAGE. DEVOTION TO THE THRONE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. 1 Auckland, Last Night. The following message has been forwarded to the King by the GovernorGeneral on the occasion of the attainment of the 20th anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne: — “The Government and people of New Zealand, with whom I associate myself, rejoice in the opportunity of tendering to Your Majesty their respectful congratulations and good wishes on the attainment of the 20th anniversary of Your Majesty’s accession to the throne and of expressing their feeling of deep thankfulness for Your Majesty’s restoration to health. They pray that Your Majesty may long be spared to reign over your people united in their devotion to the Throne.”
