PARACHUTE LOWERS CORPSE

STRANGE ACCIDENTS TO PLANES.

By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.

London, April 28.

An Air Force plane crashed at Hornchurch, the pilot landing by parachute unharmed.

A mechanic, flying at Viborg, was not so lucky. The parachute affixed to his back suddenly opened at a high altitude, plucking him from the machine and dashing him to death against the tail of the plane. The corpse sank slowly to the ground attached to the parachute. The plane lost its balance and crashed into the sea, killing the pilot.
