z Mrs. Cyril F. Seaward has returned to Auckland after a visit to New Plymouth.
Mrs. Bakcr-Crcsswell, Auckland, has returned home from New Plymouth.
Mrs. J. C. Nicholson is back in New Plymouth after a stay at Wanganui.
Miss Mavis Hogg, who was the guest of Mrs. Short, Vogeltown, has returned to Wanganui.
Mrfl. D. D. Scott and Mrs. F. H. Pope, who spent a few days in New Plymouth, have returned to Auckland.
Miss Margaret East returned to New Plymouth this week after spending a holiday at Hamilton.
. After a stay with Mrs. T. Moore, New Plymouth, Miss Marjory Wallace has returned to Wanganui.
Mrs. H. R. Dobbie, Auckland, has concluded her round of visits in Taranaki and returned home.
Miss N. Graham is an Auckland visitor to New Plymouth, and is staying at the Criterion Hotel.
Miss D. Lobb, New Plymouth, has returned home from Hawera, where she was the .guest of Mrs. H. R. Ritter, Ketemarae Road. # # # « The lady members of the Waverley Golf Club met at the club house to farewell Mrs. Fred. Johnston, who is leaving with Mr. Johnston for a tour of England. A large number assembled to wish her bon voyage, the afternoon passing pleasantly with competitions which were won by Mra. Gray, Misses McGregor, Mathewson and Cleary. During the afternoon Mrs. Harvey presented Mrs. Johnston with a posie and a smelling salts bottle and wished her a pleasant trip and a safe return. ENGAGEMENTS.
