CYCLISTS SUSPENDED
AN UNREGISTERED MEETING

Wellington, Last Ni'ght.
Four well-known Wellington cyclists, W. Bray, J. Foote, G. Stanley and E. Bellman, who competed on Easter Saturday at a sports meeting held by the Manakau Amateur Cycling Club at Auckland, have been suspended by the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. The Manakau club had been suspended by the association’s council.
Speakers said cyclists had been shown leniency, but the men concerned had broken the rules in the centre’s face

Timaru, Last Night.
A conference between the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association and the New Zealand Athletic and cycling Union, which previously governed amateur and cash cycling, to-day agreed to form a board of control which will act in governing both branches of cycling.
