TRAGEDY IN NORTHLAND HOME. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dargaville, April 23. Eva, the 17-inonths-old daughter of Charles and E. Powell, of Maropiu, died on Saturday as the result of burns received by falling into the fire. She applied remedies, and the patient seemed to be improving, but later became worse and a medical man was sent for, but the child was dead before he arrived.
