SAVAGERY OF ALSATIANS

DELETED FROM SHOW SCHEDULE

By Telegraph.—Press Association.

Napier. Last Night

So much trouble has been experienced by the Hawke’s Bay A. and P. Society with Alsatians shown in the dog section of the shows that the decision was unanimously reached this morning to cut this breed out of the schedules in future. The society already has had to face one claim where a child was attacked by an Alsatian and severely bitten, and thin morning it was reported that another person had been attacked at the recent autumn show and badly bitten at the wrist. On this occasion there were ten Alsatians in the ring for judging and only one would allow itself to be handled by the judge.
