DEPUTATIONS TO MINISTER.

By Telegraph.—Press Association Rotorua, Last Night. The Minister of Internal Affairs and the Tourist Department, the Hon. P. A. de la Perelle, met the Rotorua Borough Council this morning with regard to requests for water, drainage, an aviation ground and other matters. The Minister expressed a desire to make Rotorua a popular spa and encouraging week-end games and excursions. An agricultural and Pastoral Association deputation requested financial assistance. The Ministerial party left this afternoon for Wairakei, Tokaanu and Arapuni.
