WOMAN LEAPS FROM CAR
FEAR OF OUTBREAK OF FIRE. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The smell of burning caused by a short circuit in the electrical equipment of a car driven by her hueband near Puketitiri so alarmed Mrs. A. E. Rea, Napier, that she jumped from the vehicle before Rea was able to pull up, sustaining injuries from which she later succumbed in the Napier hospital.
