ALLEGED THEFT BY POLICE
VICTORIAN CONSTABLE CHARGED.

Rec. 5.5 p.m. Melbourne, Dec. 20. Ernest Simonsen, a police constable at Prahran, has been arrested and charged with tho theft of £l7l, theatre takings left at the Prahran police station on Thursday night for safe keeping. He has been remanded till January 7.
