Boxing at the stadium to-night, Jack Haines, list. 11b., Australian middleweight champion, knocked out the American “Tiger” Anderson in the fifth round. The American started at a great pace, but Haines had his measure all through, and gave him a thorough trouncing. OPPONENT FOR JACK SHARKEY. TAFFY GRIFFITHS BEATS RISKO. Rec. 5.5 p.m. New York, Dec. 27. Tally Griffiths, Sioux City, gained the decision over Johnny Risko, Cleveland, in a ten-round heavyweight boxing bout to-night. Griffiths is likely to be an opponent of Jack Sharkey at Miami, Florida, on February 27.
