M. HERIOT EXPRESSES HOPE IMMEDIATE ACTION URGED FEDERATION WITH GENEVA By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright. Paris, Dec. 26. M. Heriot told the Chamber of Deputies that M. Briand’s proposal for a United States of Europe was possible and should be given immediate support. "I hope that France in September will carry a definite project for federation to Geneva. Everything demonstrates that the project is possible. Will France add this supplement to the world’s peace?”

M. Heriot declared that it should be put into effect as soon as possible to avoid conflict with the growing system of economic operation and cartels. He said that the tariff could be reduced and all obstacles overcome by a commercial entente.
