The following cricket team has been chosen by the 1 selectors (Messrs. J. Brown and H. R. Penny) to represent Taranaki in an attempt to regain the , Hawke Cup from Manawatu at New Year (presuming that Manawatu wins . the match at present in progress against Poverty Bay):—C. N.
