YACHT’S PROLONGED TRIP

ROUGH WEATHER IN COOK. STRAIT By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The .yacht Mana, sailed by Professor E. L. Cull, arrived at Lyttelton at 4.30 this afternoon after a long trip from Wellington. The yacht left Wellington on Friday morning and sheltered at Port Underwood from Saturday evening until Sunday afternoon. When Professor Cull set out on the voyage again, the craft encountered heavy weather and put in at Kaikoura and there lay in shelter three days until the very severe'storm blew itself out. The yacht sailed again last evening for Lyttelton and arrived to-day without mishap.
