DISMISSAL OF JAPANESE
TROUBLE AT OSAKA WORKS. By Telegraph—Pretfs Assn—Copyright. Rec. 10.30 p.m. Tokio, Dec. 26. The dismissal of 250 hands at General Motors’ works at Osaka led to trouble. At the Godo mills the trouble over dismissals was settled by large grants being made to those dismissed. The Osaka management maintains that the understanding was that as the wages were high the men could be dismissed without notice. The men formed a special union and threatened to cause a general strike. 'The American stall’ is nervous and is refraning from appearing in public.
